Your block list stays in Chrome

No account, no analytics, no ads and no tracking. Your block list and settings are stored locally in chrome.storage. We do not receive your browsing history or block list.

If you turn on Pro sync, settings use chrome.storage.sync: Google’s Chrome sync across your Chrome browsers. Sync is optional and subject to your Chrome and Google account settings.

The one extension network request

The only extension network request is the Pro licence check to api.revenuecat.com. It sends a random install ID, never browsing data or your sites. That ID connects your install with its purchase status.

Payments and support

RevenueCat and Stripe process payments on their checkout pages. We receive purchase status and an email for receipts and support. We use this information to provide Pro, manage purchases and answer requests, not for advertising.

If you email us, we receive the information you choose to send. Please do not include your block list unless you want to. Purchase and support information is kept only as needed to handle your request, provide the purchase and meet applicable record-keeping requirements.

Permissions, in plain language

At install: declarativeNetRequest runs Chrome’s blocking rules; storage saves your settings; alarms supports schedules and timers; contextMenus lets you act from Chrome’s context menu; activeTab supports actions you initiate on the current tab.

Optional per-site access enables the branded block page and Shorts/Reels blocking inside YouTube’s or Instagram’s app navigation. Without it, normal blocking still works and Chrome shows its own blocked page. Notifications and idle access are optional and requested only if you choose the related features.

Your choices and rights

You can export your settings, turn off sync, remove optional permissions or uninstall the extension. Where applicable, you may request access, correction, deletion or restriction of personal data we hold, object to processing or request portability. Email darren@getsupadesign.com to exercise these rights. You may also complain to Ireland’s Data Protection Commission or your local supervisory authority.

This website

This site uses no analytics, trackers or advertising. Hosting necessarily handles the technical request needed to serve a page. Upgrade links carry your anonymous install ID, or an anonymous purchase ID made in your browser, to the checkout provider. The purchase ID is kept in your browser’s local storage so the page after checkout can confirm Pro with RevenueCat.
